I am very sorry to learn of Wayne’s passing. We were good friends and had some great times in school together until our family moved to California in 1959. His nickname at the time was “hood” only because of the way he would comb his long dark hair, and because he was a special friend, not for any other reason. We used to gather at his house after school and enjoyed eating frozen pot pies (until his folks stopped that…in a kind way). We had some great times together; walking around town or whatever, but there was no way I could convince him to spend the two dimes he kept in his Penny Loafers. His sister would let me borrow her records to play at home and his brother Glen had a great looking Ford and helped me do some work on my car. I spoke with Wayne a few years back. It was a special time to reminisce and reconnect. I look forward to the day when I will see him again. My condolences to his family and friends. I have often had and always will have good feelings about Wayne. He was a good friend. Bernie Ostrom
