Wesley Jesser

Wesley Jesser, 63, West Fargo, ND, passed away at home on October 31, 2024.

Born on February 19, 1961, in Washburn, North Dakota, Wesley’s early years were shaped by hunting and fishing adventures with his beloved father. Growing up, he attended school in Bismarck, graduating in 1979. In his 20s, Wesley moved to Fargo, where he proudly watched his son Alan grow and flourish. His love for the outdoors and sportsmanship was evident in the time spent hunting with Alan and creating cherished camping memories during his son’s younger years.

Throughout his life, Wesley held various jobs and found most joy in activities like fishing and hunting.
Retiring in 2021 due to health reasons was a bittersweet decision for Wesley, as he longed to continue his active lifestyle and spend time among nature.

Wesley is survived by his son Alan (Ginny) Jesser; grandchildren Ian Rausch and Annika Jesser; sister Karen Mueller; lifelong friend Rick (Dee) Knodel; and many other extended family members and friends.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Ann Jesser.
