William "Bill" John Tubbs

William (Bill) John Tubbs was born June 3, 1939 in Sacramento, CA. to William and Marie (Kiewel) Tubbs.
Bill died Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Bill graduated from Shanley High School in 1957, and then entered the United States Air Force for the next 21 years. He spent most of the years in Asia, including Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Germany. He retired in 1978 as Senior Master Sargent. He returned to Fargo and was employed by Dakota Electric Supply and Tubbs Sharpening Service. In April 1979 he married Kathy Alm in Bismarck, ND, and resided in Fargo since then.
Bill is survived by his wife Kathy of 38 years, two stepsons, Kellin Alm (Deene) of California, Rollin Alm (Rebecca) of Wisconsin, four step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
No services are to be held per Bill's request. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill (my future step father-in-law) in June 2016. He is a wonderful, soft spoken man with a great sense of humor. I will miss not getting the chance to know him even better. Bill, thank you for your service to our great nation, and for being a devoted loving husband to your wife, Kathy. Rest in paradise, Bill.
