Billy was born on November 20, 1958 in Fargo, ND.Billy attended Ayr Elementary School until it was closed, then, after completing all available classes at Page High School as a junior, he went on to Shanley High School in Fargo ND to take college level classes during his senior year, graduating in 1977.

Billy was an exceptionally smart person that could do almost anything, figure out almost any problem. He was multi-talented with the ability to speed read, sing, and could play multiple musical instruments such as the piano, trombone, bass guitar and even the marimba. In 1976, Billy toured Europe and Canada with the International Music Camp. He was very mechanically inclined and could repair anything from a toaster to the diesel engine in a tractor or combine.
Most of Billy’s adult life was spent working for farmers as a mechanic and a laborer. Even working on huge state run farm’s in the deserts of Africa for multiple six month stints.
Billy loved to answer trivia questions on radio stations, fish, plink gophers and drive all the back roads around his beloved Brewer Lake with his dog Pike by his side, not far from the family farm. He was loved by all that knew him and would do anything to help someone in need. He will be missed by all.
What a guy our Billy! Yes Billy was always willing to help out anymore even if he didn’t know them. Back @ Lake Eunice days (70s through 90s) he loved his beer, which I served him acouple!!!! 😀 Eileen was a great gal for Billy. Those 2 had more love for each other than most married pple. All our thoughts & prayers are with you Eileen & family & many, many , many friends. We love you Billy Rose rest in RIP! You will always be in our hearts & memories ♥️ ❤️ 💙 💓

Tim and family sorry to hear about Billy’s passing. Our family met Billy many years ago when my brother’s and I were kids camping out at brewer lake. He’d drive out in his little white pickup with his pooch at that time. Fun guy to visit with. Now my brother’s and I are in our 40s. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. So sorry to read about Billy. We send our sincere sympathy and prayers to all of your family.
I first got to know Bill in 1976 when were both tenors in the International Music Camp choir that toured Europe. We practiced together alot the summer prior to the tour and spent almost a month together on tour so I got to know him quite well. He was a fun guy to be around.
We kept in touch for a while after that but as life goes so often, we fell out of touch.
I was sad to read that Bill passed.
