William (Duane) Klingbeil

William (Duane) Klingbeil, 79 of Fargo, ND died suddenly Saturday, April 14, 2007 in his home. Duane was born April 18, 1927 on a farm near Pinewood, MN to Walter and Hilda (Johnson) Klingbeil. He grew up on the family farm and attended a country school. Duane later graduated from a technical school in Minneapolis, MN where he was trained in welding. He moved to Fargo in 1963 where he was employed by Thurlow Welding and Machine for a number of years. He worked at American Crystal Sugar from 1979 until his retirement in 1989. Duane married Ione Mildred Bjornson October 8, 1990 in Fargo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ione He is survived by three brothers, Ron, Topeka, KS, Robert (Shirley) Stillwater, MN and Dennis (Jan) McQueney, TX; two sisters, Arlen Lee and Marilyn (Dick) Zeman, both of Bemidji, MN; and a special friend, Helen.
