Willy Graham, 69, passed away on July 15, 2024. Willy lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a gentle nature.
Willy was known as a hard worker and honesty and integrity were very important to him. In his professional life he was a jack of all trades spending time as a butcher, a farm hand, and lastly retired from Hornbacher’s as night manager. His hands were calloused by years of hard work, but his heart was always warm and welcoming. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and loved to chit chat with family, friends, and anyone who would listen about local sports, the weather, news, or bragging about his wife, daughter, and grandchildren.
A passionate outdoorsman, Willy found immense joy in hunting deer and elk. He cherished his trips to Montana for elk hunting with his brother and brother’s family. He found great happiness in sharing his hunting stories and skills with his daughter and grandchildren and was so proud and excited to watch and help his grandsons tag their first deer.
Willy had an optimistic outlook on life, an unwavering faith in the goodness of people, and his goofy wit will be remembered by everyone who knew him.
Willy leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Loni; daughter, Lacresha; grandchildren, Gavyn and Kamdyn; siblings, Clyde (Glenda), Bertha (Doug), Margo (Tom), and Ruth; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lois Graham; siblings, Allen Graham, Hobert Graham, and Elsie Henrich; grandson, Corbyn Peterson; nephew, Cody Hood; brother-in-law, Jeff Herbold; and in-laws, George Roen, Jeanne Roen, and Jim Lundstrom.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit and legacy of kindness and positivity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Boulger Funeral Home at 2:00pm with a visitation beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow funeral at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
