Wilma passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at St. Catherine’s South (Villa Maria) in Fargo, at the age of 95. Wilma Marion Serum was born on August 28, 1926, the daughter of Oliver and Josephine (Rognlie) Serum in Halstad, MN. She grew up in this area and received her education. Wilma was united in marriage to Alvin Witte on October 26, 1943, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hillsboro. They farmed for many years near Casselton, ND. They moved into Fargo in 1968 and retired from farming in 1981. Wilma is survived by her son, Frank (Pat) Witte of Fargo; her daughters - Marion Witte of the Los Angeles, CA area; and Claudia Wilson of Omaha, NE; her five grandchildren – Beth, Bret, Angela, Jon Allen, and Jennifer; and six great grandchildren – Bella, Peighton, Ethan, Madison, Lauryn and A.J. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; a brother and three sisters. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10 AM Friday, April 1, 2022, at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo – with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or Great Plains Food Bank.   1. Wonderful memories visiting the Witte clan with my Mother Ruby Goodyear . Ruby was my mother , we grew up and lived in Pennsylvania . We used to visit her family every summer when I was a child . I remember it was a long drive but we sure had fun with all of our cousins and families.
    May Aunt Wilma rest in peace.
