  3. Leonard ND
The Erickson’s were my country neighbors in Park River. Julie was a few years older and I remember always thinking how beautiful she was and I remember how excited I would be when Julie would let Jason and I tag along to go swimming at the river. Since I never had any sisters, I thought that was the best thing ever. My thoughts go out to all of the Erickson family.

  4. West Fargo North Dakota
I worked with Jules at Paradiso, had a few Jacks with a jack back with her and gave a few rides home when needed. Jules was an awesome person and I feel blessed to have known her. She always put a smile on even when she wasn’t having the best day. She had so many beautiful qualities that are so hard to find. She will be truly missed.

  5. Pisek ND

come to your mom’s celebration of life. We love and miss you terribly.

  17. West FargoI’ll smile when I remember your stories which were always based on bad luck. Whether you were barefooted or wearing moccasins… you always had a way of making people laugh. You will always be beautiful and dearly missed by many who love you. Gone much too soon. Rest in peace, Jules.

  18. Iowa City IATo Jan, John, Jason, Jamie, and Julie’s boys my mind is filled with memories of Julie. As I replay those “good old days” growing up in Park River, Julie is certainly a part of those memories. She was always the smart and fun girl in our gang and always put the needs and wants of her friends first. Julie was a loyal and true friend. Although she could be quiet at times, she was definitely the most courageous. She expressed herself in a passionate way that only a fearless and confident young girl could. This is how I will always remember Julie. Rest in peace, old friend.
My deepest sympathy for all of Julie’s family,
    Terri Novak-Cicha

  19. Littleton ColoradoI regret to say I have not seen Julie in years. But she was a niece to me. The few times we were together at the lake I saw a beautiful young girl. I remember her sitting on the end of the dock with her feet in the water, with her head set
on listening to music. Eyes looking out across the lake. I also remember the night we were all down by the lake and she was asked to play the flute. The night went quiet and she played so beautifully. I enjoyed her music! And talent! I could have listened for hours.

I believe so strongly in God and have great faith but her leaving us the way she did is impossible for my head or heart to understand. I do wish I had known her better. But to all of you left to go on without her, she is with her daddy and grandpa! The pain of her loss will not leave my heart until I join her, Paul and my many loved ones. With love to all, Cheryl

  20. Park River North Dakota
I grew up with Julie. We spent a lot of time together in junior high and high school. I have very fond memories of “camping out” at the river on Hankey’s property, and almost always ending up in Erickson’s basement, because we would get rained out. Julie was smart, funny, musically talented, and a wonderful all around person. She will be missed….

  21. Moorhead MnJan and family,
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, may all your memories of cousin Julie comfort you in the days to come. I will always remember her for her kindness towards others. May she now experience True Peace in Heaven.

  22. Grand Forks ND

When I was a kid, Julie and my sis Jennifer Novak spent a lot of time together in Park River and Veseleyville.

Julie never treated me as a tag along or \”Jen’s little sister\”. She was always sweet, kind, and included me, treated me like I was the only person in the room. Julie personified beauty, inside and out.

Thank you, Julie, for the amazing, beautiful, sweet person you were to me and continue to be. We will see each other again some day in a place where there is no sadness, no pain, and where the joy, comfort, and presence of Love reigns!

    I pray for the comfort Jesus brings to your family, Derek, and Duke. Love you.;

  23.
