This sweet man came from his home three times in the middle of the night to care for me after a difficult time from a tonsillectomy. (Not from the surgery but I was prone to bleed easily) I felt terrible that he couldn’t get any sleep because of me. I could see that he was tired. He was so kind. I remember him telling me that the only thing worse than a tonsillectomy at my age was hemorrhoid surgery! He was trying to cheer me up! I have never forgotten him. I can still picture him smiling at me that night and encouraging me that all would be well. That was 50 years ago! I had suffered each year with terrible bouts of infection until Dr. LaVanuda came to my aid. He truly cared for his patients. He had a big heart. ♥️ RIP Doctor. ♥️
