This is a photo of Bob (or “Jim” as we knew him) with my dad, also Jim (Geeter). They met in the late 1960s or early 1970s at Amoco, and became fast friends as did my mother, Marjorie and Bob’s beloved Josephine. From years in Atlanta and then on to Lenexa, KS their friendship grew stronger. Me, my father Jim and my husband Loren took the opportunity to visit Bob/Jim in Fargo in June 2022 as part of a trip through the Dakotas. Spending time with him was the highlight of our trip. At age 93 (and my Dad at 90), he was such a fun host and took us to see all the local sites. He even cheerfully endured my husband’s request to watch a hockey playoff in his cozy apartment. We are so grateful we got to spend the time with him.
