Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I never thought that I would ever be apart from this guy. We became best friends 10 years ago in Lincoln, Nebraska. We hit it off immediately….he reminded me of me when I was younger. No matter how mad we got at each other, 10 minutes later we were back to being best friends again. I always told him that I couldn’t stay mad at someone I liked. He has lived with me for the past 8 years and I thought we would be together forever really. I never had a son, nor a younger brother. Ricky was both to me. I’m not sure what life will be like now without him. I know that we can’t choose when it’s our time to go, but I can say that I now look forward to that day and know that he will be there waiting for me on the other side. Ricky was more than any friend could be, he was my other half, and I will miss him terribly.

  2. I remember baby sitting Rick & Christy and Susan. As we called her booger. I remember Rick woke up sick and I didn’t know there last name and he was writing novonty in the air. So I finally reached nancy. I remember Rick in his underroos. Sending sincere sympathy to Nancy Christy and Susan during this difficult time. I will be keeping you guys in prayer. .Leslie Heille Muscha.

    • I can just picture little Ricky writing ‘novotny’ in the air. It exemplifies the innocent spirit this man carried with him through life. I never heard him utter a bad word about anybody. He was always willing and content just being included. Thank you for this precious memory.

  3. Rick was a close friend in high school. We grew up in the same neighborhood. He had a big blue car that drove us everywhere. He was a good guy and will be missed dearly.
