Marilyn and Al would keep in touch with us on a regular basis. We Skyped with them every few weeks. We would catch up on one another's news, talk about current events, and reminisce a lot about the good old days! Marilyn shared so many memories about her days of growing up on the farm in Wahpeton, ND. Above are some photos of when the Schwindts visited us on our farm in Maryland. Marilyn cooked some of our favorite Norwegian dishes. What fun we had! We will miss her so much when we call Al to Skype again, but I am positive Marilyn would want us to continue that tradition.
